Description
Explore the wineries and scenery of Virginia’s historic Northern Neck; taste some of the region’s best food, all included in this tour. Virginia is known for its beautiful wine country, and the Northern Neck, nestled between the Rappahannock and Potomac Rivers is no exception.
Park your car at the historic courthouse in downtown Montross (15803 Kings Hwy, Montross, VA 22520), board the tour van, and head to The Art of Coffee for brunch. Following brunch, you’ll visit several of the region’s wineries located in the north-western end of the Northern Neck, and enjoy a tasting session at each one, before the van drops you off at the historic courthouse in Montross, where you parked.
Tickets are available for all groups and tours are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Transportation along the tour is provided, along with the cost of wine tastings and brunch. Additional fees are not included with the tour price, such as bottles of wine or souvenirs, or additional food. Seats are limited, so please book your spot as soon as possible. The Tour Van will leave the historic courthouse at Montross at 9:30am. Guests should plan on arriving at the courthouse no later than 9:25am. Tour guests with accommodations at General’s Ridge Vineyard should plan on boarding the van at the vineyard at 9:00am.

- 9:30am – Board Van at the Historic Courthouse in Montross – First Stop – Brunch at The Art of Coffee
- Second Stop – Ingleside Vineyards
- Third Stop – Montross Brewery
- Fourth Stop – Caret Cellars
- Fifth Stop – Vault Field Vineyards
- Sixth Stop – General’s Ridge Vineyard
- Approximately 6:00pm – Van returns to the Historic Courthouse in Montross

Historic Courthouse in Montross. Guests staying at General’s Ridge Vineyard‘s Manor House or Vineyard Views, will ride the van back at approximately 6:00pm.

Transportation along the tour, brunch with gratuity, and wine tastings are included in the price of your tour.
Any additional fees are not included with the tour price, such as additional bottles of wine, hors d’oeuvres, or souvenirs. Tips for wine pourers, tour guides, and drivers are not required, but always appreciated.
Accommodations are not included in the price of your tour.

Cancellation more than 30 days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations between 30 and 7 days in advance will receive a full refund minus a 15% administrative fee. Refunds cannot be issued for cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled tour date.
At their discretion, Tours of the Northern Neck, LLC reserves the right to cancel tours that do not meet a minimum capacity. If your tour is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund, regardless of the date.
Your card will be charged for the full price of the tour when you make your reservation.
Smoking is not permitted in the Tour Van.

What an awesome tour! Exploring the Northern Neck and learning some of the local history while sitting back and enjoying the ride doesn’t get much better than that! A complete day with the start of brunch and ending with dinner at two awesome establishments. The food and service at both were exceptional and now I have two new restaurants to patronize! If you enjoy visiting wineries this tour is for you! All four wineries offer something for each palette. Grab your friends and family and spend a Saturday exploring the Neck!
